The Practice

Richard established Hawkes Architecture in 2008 following 13 years of commercial practice. We specialise in the design of NPPF ‘Paragraph 84‘ dwellings and have a highly motivated team of qualified architects and architectural assistants.

Our team works from a small studio on a farm in rural Kent. As well as designing beautiful buildings together, we love lunchtime walks through the changing seasons, trips to the pub, and chasing the dog around the office!

Plus enjoy a celebratory glass of wine (or juice) at the local vineyard for each successful planning approval.

We believe that every team member has something to bring to the rich tapestry of both our workplace and projects and we feel deeply invested in the architecture and homes that we create.
