David joined Hawkes Architecture in 2020 after completing his Masters degree and became a fully qualified Architect in February 2022. He is enthusiastic about creating architecture that responds to the rural sensibilities of a site whilst making spaces that are a joy to inhabit . Apart from all things architectural David loves making music and exploring the UK by bike, 4×4 or on foot. He also lectures in architectural photography at the University of Kent and particularly enjoys shooting and developing 35mm film.
