Planning Consent Granted

Yesterday Derbyshire Dales D.C. granted planning consent for Hawkes Architecture’s 19th Paragraph 79 exceptional new dwelling set within a compact network of grazing pastures near Ashbourne, Derbyshire. At a modest 239m2 (G.I.A.) this is the smallest Para79 house we’ve had approved to date and will provide an exceptional quality home for a local family who’ve been farming the land their whole life.


The proposals were recommended approval by D.D.D.C. and unanimously supported by their planning committee last night during a virtual committee meeting. The scheme underwent extensive consultation and independent design review and ultimately endorsement.
